I am working on setting up my new store. There's a lot to do! Got to set up this page and work on that page and make sure that they all connect and display correctly. Then I have to go in and set up the caterogies and products. Whew! This is a lot of work! But, it is also kind of fun! As soon as the redirect url is operational, I will get it posted!

Again with the multi-tasking!

Tonight will be spent multitasking again. The next issue of Mara's Ads Vendor Fair Alerts should go out late tonight and I still have a few changes and updates to do!

I really intended to get the majority of the updates done on Saturday, but was feeling punky. My back was bothering me in addition to a scratchy throat and sneezing! I felt some better yesterday, but still just not quite up to speed.

I had also intended to get my new store site started and I did, but just barely! LOL! I got registered! Now I need to go in and start making the site mine. And, that took more concentration then I was able to muster on Saturday! LOL!

Is it warm enough for ya?

That is a standard old Southern greeting. And, yes, it is warm enough, too warm! It reached 103 yesterday. The record was 105 in 1974. Today it is supposed to get up to 102. Makes ya want to just stay in under the fan! LOL!

Multi-tasking!

How are your multi-tasking skills? I seem to try to do it all the time. For example, I use FireFox for my browser. I LOVE the tabs! I can be on several different sites at the same time! Checking my email in one and taking notes in BackPack in another!

Last night I was trying to do a different type of multitasking. I was putting the finishing touches on this week's ezine and trying to watch the latest installment of Treasurer Hunters ! I don't why I get hooked on that type of "reality" show, but it's fun to watch!

Tonight will be spent getting ready for a vendor fair on Wednesday night. I need to re-do some of my notes. In between the changes, I will probably be putting new items in Miz Maras Boutique or getting ready for a yard sale that we will be having the first Saturday in August! Busy, busy, busy!

Well, gotta run and get ready for work! Stay cool!

Miz Mara's Boutique

I have decided to set up my own little shop - Miz Mara's Boutique. I found an auction site that allows free stores - so with a few key strokes - voila! Miz Mara's Boutique was set up. Now, that doesn't mean that I will stop listing on eBay, but I will stop listing on another site that charges way too much in final value fees for the exposure (or lack there of) that I get. I will continue on Yahoo auctions and on WagglePop, but will try to have the complete line of whatever I am selling at the moment listed for your purchasing pleasure in Miz Mara's Boutique! I will announce the Grand Opening soon!

Prayer Request

This comes from a co-worker - Her daughter and son in law are missionaries in the Philippines. I am sure she would appreciate your prayers as well.

"I'd appreciate all of Antioch's prayer warriors remembering to pray for our kids in the Philippines. They live in Legaspi City, which is beneath Mt. Mayon, a volcano which has begun to erupt. They are at Level 3 (of 5 levels) Alert and have not been told to evacuate yet. They are several miles from the volcano, maybe 10-20, but the danger depends on the force of the eruptions to come. God has certainly protected them over and over again. I'm just asking Him to do it again. Thanks for your prayers in their behalf.

of online vendor fairs! I am an addict! I have to limit myself to one or two a week! I like to interact with the other vendors and folks who cruise by to find out what we are doing.

Do you know how hard it is to explain to people what a "vendor fair" is? In future postings I will attempt to do just that!
