I am in the process of writing an eBook. It is a Contingency Plan for your Business in the event of a serious illness, accident, or death happening to you.

Save the Date Cards
Wedding season is almost upon us! I am going to be sharing a few articles and ideas in the next few weeks. Since I represent a company that has a variety of wedding cards, invitation, and Save the Date cards, I thought I would post an article about the last item. What Save The Date Cards Are And Why You May Want Them In Your Wedding Plans

Getting engaged and married is a wonderful, but sometimes very stressful time. There are so many things to think about. When and where is the wedding going to be, who to invite, what colors to use, what to eat, who is going to make the cake and the food, will there be a dance, and who will provide the music? There are all kinds of questions to be answered and dealt with. Not everything has to be so stressful; some of the preparations can be fun.
One of the more fun things to plan is the "save the date cards". Your save the date cards can be a fun thing to pick out. When choosing your save the date cards have fun and pick fun cards that you like. Part of the reason these cards are fun to pick is because they do not have to match the rest of your invitations or decorations for your wedding. You can choose a different design, and a different color than your wedding colors. You do not have to make sure they match, but they can match if that's what you want.
Before you get your save the date cards printed you need to know what date you are wanting people to save. Before you can pick a date for sure you will need to check around for a place for the wedding and the reception. If you have a date in mind you will want to check and make sure your church of choice has that date available. After you set the date with the church you will need to find a place to hold the reception. These two events may need to take place at the same time if you already know where you would like to have your wedding and your reception.
Now that you have the place and time you can get your cards printed. Another reason these cards are a little less stressful are because you can do whatever you want with them. There is no set way to do your cards for your event. You will want to make sure you have your names on the cards, and the date and time of the wedding. Other than these few important items, it is up to you what else if anything is on the card. You can put more information on the card if you want, or you can keep it simple.
Who you send the cards to is also up to you. You do not need to send a card to the whole guest list. You do want to make sure that any guests that you really want to be there get a card. When you send your save the date cards is also up to you. Keep in mind that the earlier people know about the event, the easier it is for them to get arrangements made, and make sure nothing else will interfere with their attending. Most people like to send their cards out between six and nine months before the wedding, but it is completely up to you.

Our good friend, Danette was the victim of a house fire. Her neighbor's home was completely destroyed by fire and Danette's home suffered major damage also. Her neighbor's insurance will not cover the damage to Danette's home. Danette's husband is currently hospitalized and Danette is working killer hours every day at her job, just trying to make ends meet. Please join us as all her friends raise money by auctioning off items. All proceeds will be sent to Danette to help her replace her siding and all the windows which were blown out as a result of this fire.
We will also be posting an email address where you can send any cash donations, if you would like. Please know that anything you can contribute will be greatly appreciated!
How will this auction work?
* The donor will tell what the item is and describe it.
* We will start the bidding out at $1 for each item.
* Once we have a winner, the winner will be sent to a claim form.
* The winner will be invoiced by one of the moderators for the item.
PLEASE NOTE - Shipping will be added to your winning bid.
* Once payment is received, the donor will be notified that they need to ship the item to the winner, whose information will be provided.
ATTENTION DONORS - Please send items out promptly. Any donor who does not ship items out within a reasonable time period will be reported to the Consultant Check group on Yahoo. Remember to live by the Golden Rule and treat others as you would like to be treated. Thanks!

I am having a busy January!
Woo Boy! January has been a pretty busy month so far.
Let's see, so far, I have had to complete the quarterly financial statements for work for our quarterly business meeting. It was a month late due to having too much going on in December! LOL!
With that done, I have been working on payroll information for the year end reports and forms that need to get done. I need to get the W2s as ASAP!
I also need to get year end statements for work out. I have already had folks asking about those!
So, busy, busy, busy! I think I will take an extra day off in February to recover! LOL!
I hope everyone is staying warm and dry! We have had flash flood warnings here and more to come.
